A British organization and Russian personages released statements on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung between July 1 and 3.
The British Association for the Study of Songun Politics, in a statement, said:
The demise of Comrade Kim Il Sung was a great loss not only to the Korean people but also progressive mankind.
He was the great leader of the international socialist movement and renowned veteran statesman.
He liberated Korea, which had lost its colours from the world map, built it into an independent state and a powerful socialist country, and made a great contribution to the accomplishment of the cause of independence against imperialism.
His idea and exploits will shine forever.
