The Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation convened its second meeting in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, on October 5, Juche 105 (2016).
The meeting was attended by chairman Kim Chang Ryong, co-chairman Johnny Hon, vice-chairman Keith Bennett and other members of the BD, and staff members of the Secretariat of KKF.
Keith Bennett presided over the meeting.
Kim Chang Ryong took the floor first.
He reviewed the work the KKF BD did over the past one year since its 1st enlarged meeting and emphasized the need to give wide publicity to the greatness of the President and the Chairman in various forms and methods in different countries and regions of the world and organize and conduct all activities under a long-range programme in accordance with the characteristics of the KKF.
The meeting elected new directors and awarded each of them certificates of the BD bearing the beaming images of the great leaders.
Next, Johnny Hon put forward a work programme.
The programme stressed the need to establish a well-regulated international work system and promote exchange and friendly cooperation with world-renowned foundations, and advanced the orientation for brisk external activities and business cooperation.
