Kimjongilia shows were held in Russia and China between December 23 and 28 last year on the occasions of the 26th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People’s Army, the 6th anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un’s assumption of the same post and the centenary of the birth of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.
Kimjongilia is well known around the world and it has won high appreciation at international horticultural shows, a local company director said in a Russian show. He added that he would grow more beautiful flowers named after the Korean leader to spread them to many parts of Russia.
A Chinese deputy company director and other personages said that every December progressive mankind felt growing reverence for the DPRK’s great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk. The birth of Kimjongilia is an auspicious event common to mankind and also a landmark event for the world horticultural circle, they noted, hoping that the Korean people would achieve bigger success in their efforts to build a socialist power under the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
