One day in September Juche 90(2001), Chairman Kim Jong Il visited Sinhung Restaurant on the way to his field guidance without relieving his fatigue since his visit to a foreign country.
Some hours went by while the service workers were with the Chairman in great pleasure. At that time he pointed to the need of preserving the singular taste of a special dish from South Hamgyong Province.
The restaurant manager told him that when the Chairman would come again, they would serve better dishes.
The Chairman smiled and said that they should not wait for him but give a nice service to the people.
His request that favored only the delight and happiness of the people deeply implanted the true spirit of service into the minds of officials.
