One February day in Juche 106 (2017) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Pyongyang Primary School for Orphans.
He was very pleased that the school was built as a nice home and learning space for orphans. Looking round the school with great satisfaction, he gave instructions on the education and edification of the orphans.
That day he stressed that the work for modernizing the educational sector and improving the quality of education is a matter of national and strategic importance as it is related to the future of the country.
Matters concerning education, however trifle they may look, should not be neglected, he noted.
The climate and discipline of giving top priority to the educational sector should be established on a nationwide scale—this is the demand of the Party and the revolution.
