One January day in Juche 107 (2018), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Pyongyang Teachers Training College.
Making the rounds of the college, he gave precious instructions.
He dropped in at a room that consists of an office designed as a multi-functional learning space for debate about educational science and an education control room.
An official of the college explained that latest education techniques have been introduced to the teaching methods at the multi-functional classroom and the ways of conducting all the educational work in a scientific way were explored in the control room.
Having listened carefully to the official, Kim Jong Un stressed the need to take good care of the students and give them a proper education. Then he suddenly asked her if the incumbent primary school teachers knew those modern educational techniques.
He pointed to the need for Pyongyang Teachers Training College and other modern colleges to establish in the future a system for providing in-service education to the incumbent teachers, and to put into operation all fine systems such as in-service and online courses so as to help them steadily improve their qualifications.
