At that time there was a small green area in the spacious front yard of the hospital.
As he entered the front yard, he stopped and saw small trees planted in the green area. He said that the small trees did not blend in with the surroundings and that it was needed to transplant tall trees even if it was difficult.
He told the officials that there is no need to build the pavement area so wide because outpatients do not come to the hospital by bus at a time and that it would be necessary to make a rectangular or oval green area and plant lawns and silver birches there.
It is important to install benches for patients, he said, adding that would make the hospital look better.
His instructions did not simply stress the importance of building green areas. They meant that all the structures for the people should be built at the highest levels.
