A solemn ceremony of hoisting the national flag took place in Pyongyang on January 1, Juche 112 (2023).
Pyongyang citizens gathered at the Kim Il Sung Square and paid a high tribute to the blue and red flag of the Republic that cherishes the dignity, lives and bright future of the entire Korean people, the national flag that shows manifestly the course of heroic struggle of Juche Korea displaying the might of independence, self-reliance and self-defense.
