During the rainy season in 2020, some local areas of the country suffered serious damages from disastrous storms and floods.
Just when many people did not know what and how to do before natural disasters, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un convened the 16th Political Bureau Meeting of the Seventh Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea. He stressed that the pains of flood victims who had lost their houses and family assets and lived at temporary shelters would be beyond description and that just then it should be none other than our Party who takes full responsibility and goes closer to them to share and lessen their hardships.
Our people have no fear in whatever storms and always live with optimistic vision on the future as they have been tenderly cared by him who did not feel relieved even for a moment just when natural disasters suddenly occurred, and took every possible measure for victims with maternal care.
