The following happened when Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was his way back home after looking round Taechong-ri in Unpha County, North Hwanghae Province which was inundated by flooding early in August.
His car slipped down into a paddy field by the roadside while making its way through a muddy road submerged by flooding. The more it skidded, the more it got stuck in the mud.
Over ten farmers, who were told of the fact, hurried up to the site. They, together with the officials who accompanied the Supreme Leader, began to push the car. The car escaped from the quagmire after a good while.
The Supreme Leader got out of his car and thanked them for their help.
Moved by his acknowledgment, the farmers broke into cheers of “hurrah!”
He stopped his car several times as they kept following his car. He said to an official of the County Party Committee that today he came to help people and, on the contrary, he was much obliged for their assistance.
