The annals of the history of the Workers` Party of Korea are replete with love for the people.
One day in the late 1970s Chairman Kim Jong Il was learning about the construction of a yeast workshop of the Pyongyang Wheat Flour Processing Factory. An official suggested postponing the construction in consideration of financial shortage. Then the Chairman said that of course an accurate calculation should be made in building a factory, but nothing beneficial to the people could be done if the work method of counting on an abacus alone was adopted. He stressed that not to prioritize economic value in the work for the people was his arithmetic and the calculation method of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Today the WPK has been strengthened and developed into a great party which all the people call it their mother.
