The third enlarged meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation took place in Pyongyang on October 18, Juche 106 (2017).
It was attended by Keith Bennett, vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, directors of the board, members of the Foundation, and foreigners and overseas Koreans, including a delegation of the Russian Committee for Reverence of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu.
Also present were officials of the Foundation’s secretariat as observers.
An organizational issue was on agenda. A chairman was elected to fill a vacancy, and a vice-chairman and directors were newly elected.
The Board of Directors’ work over the past year since its second meeting was reviewed, the revised rule of the Foundation was adopted, and the direction of future work was informed.
The participants adopted a letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
