Pyongyang Ice Sculpture Festival-2020 took place at Kim Il Sung Square from Dec 31, 2019.
Visitors showed their boundless reverence towards President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in front of the ice scuptures of the President`s birthplace at Mangyongdae and the Chairman’s birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp at the centre of the venue.
The ice sculptures of various themes and forms greatly impressed the visitors as they reflected the achievements the Korean people made in 2019, the year of proud victory, in a distinctive style.
The festival venue presented an enchanting view with a good harmony of gorgeous illuminations and various ice sculptures on the banks of the Taedong River, giving precious memories and fresh hope for future to the people greeting the New Year.
