On the 25th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung overseas families of those related to the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and members of country offices of international organizations laid baskets of flowers at their statues on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang.
They placed flower baskets and made a bow at the statues in boundless reverence for the peerlessly great men.
Baskets of flowers were sent to the statues by the Nigerian President, the chairman of the Italian International Group, family of former Japanese deputy prime minister Kanemaru Shin, the organizing committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, Yuwen Middle School in Jilin of China and other foreign figures and organizations.
The ribbons of the flower baskets bore such letters as “The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will always be with us” and “Their Excellencies the Great Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will be immortal”.
