Stamps were issued on the occasion of the KPA’s 70th anniversary.
The upper part of the stamps bears such words “Celebration of 70th Anniversary of February 8 Juche 37(1948) – Juche 107(2018)”.
A miniature sheet carries a picture showing President Kim Il Sung standing on the platform while reviewing a military parade held to mark the founding of the Korean People’s Army on February 8 Juche 37(1948). And it also depicts Mt Paektu, the sacred mountain of the Korean revolution, the flag of the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army and the KPA colours, all symbolic of the glorious tradition of the KPA.
The new stamps that reflect the proud journey of the KPA tell that the revolutionary cause of Juche, the cause of building a socialist power, will be successfully accomplished thanks to the invincible revolutionary army commanded by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
