War veterans are enjoying all benefits of socialism in the DPRK.
As part of the government’s programme for their health, sanatoriums have sprung up in scenic sites across the country, namely in Pyongyang, Kangwon, North Phyongan, South Hamgyong, and North Hwanghae provinces.
The health centres are equipped with every possible facility for healthcare, medical treatment and recreation.
In the DPRK war veterans are much revered as saviors of the country and educators of the successors of the revolution.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who calls them “proud national heroes” and “true patriots”, proposed building sanatoriums for the sake of them and indicated the ways for the construction.
The sanatoriums which have been built under this loving care are the heaven for war veterans.
