Korean residents in Japan significantly celebrated the 78th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
There were the central meeting of Koreans in Japan, central photo exhibition of Chongryon (General Association of Korean Residents in Japan) and art performance at the Korean Hall of Culture in Tokyo, Japan, on February 15 in celebration of the 78th birthday of Kim Jong Il.
Earlier, the seminar of Korean social scientists in Japan was held at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on February 6 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (February 16).
As they meaningfully celebrated the Day of the Shining Star, Chongryon officials and other Korean residents in Japan keenly realized once again that the Chairman was a benevolent father who brought happiness for the Korean compatriots in Japan and the bright future of posterity.
