On the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il, working people, youth, students and service personnel laid baskets of flowers and bouquets at the statues and large portraits of the peerlessly great men in all parts of the country.
They made deep bows to their statues on Mansu Hill while looking back upon the sacred revolutionary life and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who opened up a new era of the Juche revolution and laid an eternal foundation for national prosperity.
Baskets of flowers were placed at their statues and beaming images in different places of the capital city, especially Kim Il Sung University, the Mansudae Art Studio and ministries of the People’s Armed Forces and People’s Security, in the name of institutions, enterprises and units of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces.
The working people, students and service members in all parts of the country also visited the statues and portraits of the President and the Chairman in their localities to pay homage to the great leaders.
