The Jungphyong Vegetable Greenhouse Farm in the northern tip of the DPRK is a large intensive vegetable producer designed for substantially contributing to the people`s improved diet.
The farm has hundreds of blocks of hydroponic and soil greenhouses built in a unique way, including the semi-arched double-sheet greenhouse with an area of 1 000 square metres, which have all conditions for the study and application of advanced technologies in the greenhouse vegetable sector. It has also a vegetable technology lab and sci-tech learning space.
The farm works to produce various kinds of highly nutritious vegetables in larger quantities by actively introducing advanced vegetable cultivation technologies and methods.
