The DPRK has a plenty of resources needed for eco-tourism development.
Natural scenic spots like Mounts Paektu, Kumgang, Myohyang, Chilbo and Kuwol are all widely known to the world as eco-tourism resources.
It has rich animal and plant resources as well as scenic spots. It has also reserves for protection of animals and plants, nature preservation areas and seabird reserves, which create favorable conditions for development of eco-tourism.
In the DPRK national measures have been taken to dynamically propel eco-tourism and other related work.
