In early September 1972, President Kim Il Sung inspected samples of padded clothes to be dressed by all children and students across the country. In fact, those padded clothes had been made with samples sent by the President.
The President saw the samples satisfactorily and instructed about even the most trifling matters including the matter of making the sleeve edges of padded clothes for kindergartners with knit goods for better appearance and snow-proofing.
The officials were almost moved to tears seeing the President take his deep interest in order that cold wind does not pierce into the padded clothes to be dressed by children.
Since then, the President used to check on production of padded clothes several times in a day only and solved knotty problems one by one.
