Making the rounds of the site, he said that among the many projects we have to do at the moment, those for the wellbeing of the people were the most important, that the public health work was a priority matter for the wellbeing of the people, and that it was his decision to direct efforts to public health to make the people enjoy a long life in good health.
As he looked round every nook and cranny of the dust-swirling construction site for a long time, giving detailed instructions, his shoes were covered with dust and his collar was soaked with sweat.
However, he continued to look round the site, saying that the people would be delighted if they heard that a medical oxygen factory was under construction.
That day was a Sunday.
There are many Sundays, on which he made devoted efforts without rest for the people.
It was a Sunday when he visited the construction site of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station in September 2015, bestowing great affection and trust on the young people, and it was also a Sunday, when he visited a livestock farm in August 2018 to provide his people with delicious meat and milk.
Once, he told the officials that making painstaking efforts for the good of the people was his job, and that it was his road which he followed to bring delight to them at the cost of such efforts.
