The Sunlight that Doesn’t Shade

On September 18, Juche 67(1978), Chairman Kim Jong Il examined a document submitted and cast his eyes upon the fact that a painter who had ever taken part in making the national emblem and flag in the period of the Republic founding was excluded from the list of the persons to be decorated on the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Republic.

The Chairman supposed the mental agony he and his family would suffer and asked some officials to look for him quickly and give his presents to him.

He said that it would be difficult to look for him as thirty years had already passed since then and told about the identity of a person who would help them.

Immediately after he was told about his whereabouts, the Chairman was more pleased than anyone and gave him his presents deserved to go down through generations.

The gray-haired old man who had already stopped painting was deeply grateful to the Chairman for his loving care.
