The people of the DPRK are upholding President Kim Il Sung as the eternal President of the Republic who set up the people`s democratic state where the people have become the genuine masters of state and society for the first time in the East.
The President put forward the unique idea and line for nation building centering on the masses of the people which served as an adamant guideline in the course of building the country. And he organized the democratic national reunification front which involved the broad sections of democratic forces such as farmers, intellectuals and conscientious national capitalists under the leadership of the working class.
The President carried out the task of anti-imperialist and anti-feudal democratic revolution including the land reform and nationalization of major industries and strengthened and developed the Provisional People’s Committee of North Korea into the People’s Committee of North Korea via democratic election. As a result, he proclaimed to the entire world the founding of the DPRK, the Korea-wide unified government on September 9 Juche 37 (1948).
