A National Photo Exhibition opened on February 12 at the People`s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, to celebrate the 79th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Displayed at the exhibition hall were the photos showing the immortal feats of the Chairman who firmly defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation and provided the firm foundation for the building of a powerful socialist nation with his tirelessly energetic efforts and the personality of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un as a great man.
Also on display there were the photos showing the proud reality of the DPRK, where a new era of prosperity is being ushered in under the wise guidance of the Workers` Party of Korea, and the looks of the people who are fully enjoying their independent and creative life.
Looking round the exhibition hall, the participants were in full of confidence and zeal to glorify with the praiseworthy innovation and progress the first year’s advance to implement the decision of the Eighth Party Congress under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and holding in high esteem the Chairman as the eternal Sun of Juche.
Meanwhile, art performances were given by public organizations on February 14 and 15 to celebrate the Day of the Shining Star, the greatest auspicious holiday of the nation.
Art performances showed well the faith of the Korean people to bring earlier a new victory of socialism firmly rallied around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, true to the behest of the Chairman.
