A fireworks display followed the military parade celebrating the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea on the evening of January 14.
Fantastic fireworks were set off around the Tower of the Juche Idea and the songs “Glory to General Kim Jong Un” and “Cheers of the People” resounded forth.
Citizens who gathered at Kim Il Sung Square and on the banks of the Taedong River cried for joy, feasting their eyes on the fireworks.
A sea of dance was presented at the square.
Fireworks were shot off one after another to the tune of such songs as “Glory to Our Great Party” and “Our Leader Beloved of the People”, representing the profound reverence for the Party Central Committee putting the dignity and might of the country and the people on the highest level by dint of the great idea and unity in the face of the harsh trials of history.
Colourful fireworks in different shapes were displayed in the nocturnal sky, exciting the dancing citizens in the square.
Watching the gorgeous fireworks, the participants in the congress and citizens renewed their will to remain faithful to the leadership of the great Party Central Committee and bring earlier the prospering future by advancing along the road of victory indicated by the congress.
