Sculpture of the Bodhisattva

Carved on the Grand Miruk Cliff in Manphok Valley of Inner Kumgang in the Koryo period, it is one of the biggest and typical stone Buddha images in Korea.

The pleasing and delicate-looking face and the cross-legged figure of the image with the right hand up and left hand down show the artistic skill of the Koryo people. It is 15 metres high and 9.4 metres wide.
