As if queer-shaped rocks of Mt. Kumgang jumped into the sea, crystal-looking rock pillars are standing on the sea, presenting an exquisite view. Bundles of fine square rock pillars look like a fence. It is a wonder of nature formed with basalt rocks long weathered by waves, wind and rain. The rock pillars are divided into lying pillars, sitting pillars and standing pillars, of which the standing rock pillars are most fantastic. Each of the rock pillars in an 800-metre section has its own unique shape.
The rock pillars are rare to be found anywhere. The night view of the rocks is especially fantastic.
