Kim Hyong Jik, father of President Kim Il Sung, an indomitable revolutionary fighter and an outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea, visited here in November Juche 10 (1921) to guide a meeting of the representatives from the anti-Japanese organizations. On that occasion he set out a policy that armed struggle was the only way for achieving victory in the anti-Japanese struggle.
