In May Juche 102 (2013), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Schoolchildren’s Camp in Mt Myohyang.
He looked round several places, including bedroom, mountaineering knowledge learning hall, Children’s Union room and hall to learn in detail about the camping life of children and gave valuable instructions for renovation of the camp.
Renovating the camp as required by the era is an important task to bring into reality the life-long wish of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who had devoted themselves for the good of children as their own parents would do, he said, and asked officials to build it newly, instead of renovating it.
Noting that we should not spare investment for its construction even though we have mountains of work to do for building a thriving country, he stated that it is the Party’s determination to renovate in a splendid way all other camps, children’s palaces and children’s halls throughout the country.
One Sunday in May Juche 105 (2016), Kim Jong Un made a visit to the construction site of a medical oxygen factory in the capital city of Pyongyang. Saying with pleasure that he could get a view of the factory taking shape, he earnestly asked officials to build it into a factory without parallel in the world.
After giving specific instructions about the problems for the project and operation of the factory, he underscored the need not to spare investment in the health sector in order to ensure that the benefits of the socialist healthcare system will be more friendly to the people. And he took measures to build similar modern medical oxygen producing bases in different parts of the country.
