The Swiss Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea made public a joint statement on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un`s election as chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The statement said that Comrade Kim Jong Un was elected chairman of the WPK at its Seventh Congress held in May 2016.
He is a loyal successor to the revolutionary cause of Juche, which was pioneered by President Kim Il Sung and victoriously advanced by Chairman Kim Jong Il, it noted.
It said that the DPRK is displaying in the eyes of the world its might as a nation which is powerful in terms of politics, ideology and military under his wise guidance.
He firmly defends peace on the Korean peninsula, the region and beyond, it said, adding brilliant is the future of the DPRK led by the outstanding leader.
The statement extended the highest respect to him.
