Jiang Yaping, chief correspondent of China’s Xinhua branch office in Pyongyang, paid tribute to the exploits of the great leaders, saying that he witnessed the great achievements admired by the world that the DPRK has made in its socialist construction under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, General Secretary Kim Jong Il and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the State Affairs Commission.
After receiving the certificate of donation of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation bearing the beaming images of the great leaders, he said:
“It’s an honour for me to have made a donation on the occasion of such a significant day as the Day of the Shining Star.
“China and the DPRK have had very good friendly relationship for a long time. As the leaders of the two countries said, we are like brothers. Xinhua and the Korean Central News Agency have established friendly relations and have been cooperating since long ago.
“We have tremendous respect for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
“Today I received such a wonderful certificate and it is a very honorable and memorable event. I will keep this certificate as my treasure.”
