Greeting the Day of the Shining Star, people’s songs singing the eternal spring in February reverberated through the country.
The concert of the Samjiyon Orchestra was given at its theatre, the concert of the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre and revolutionary drama Three Pretenders at the National Theatre in celebration of the holiday.
The performances which highlighted the holiday with the jubilant world of music engraved in the heart of spectators the truth that the history of Chairman Kim Jong Il continues along with the eternal February spring holiday of the DPRK.
Various acrobatic and magic pieces were staged at the Pyongyang Circus Theatre and Magic Theatre of the National Circus, adding pleasure to the working people, youth and students celebrating the holiday.
Similar performances were given in each province including North and South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces.
