A national meeting was held at Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on February 15 Juche 108(2019) in celebration of the 77th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The meeting was attended by officials from Party and military organs, ministries and national agencies, service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, teachers and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, and officials and other working people of institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang.
Also present there were overseas Koreans’ congratulatory groups including that from Japan and compatriots living abroad, who visited their socialist country on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, birthday of Kim Jong Il, and the representative of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-imperialist National Democratic Front.
Invited there were DPRK-based diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and military attachés and other foreign guests.
The speaker described the history of revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Il as the glorious one of the most outstanding leader and great sage of revolution who performed immortal exploits for the country and mankind by leading the socialist cause of Juche along the road of victory.
That day, similar meetings were held in all provinces, cities and counties and industrial complexes.
