The Ministry of External Relations of Mongolia and the foreign ministries of Laos, Turkey and Columbia welcomed another summit meeting and talks between Chairman Kim Jong Un of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and president Moon Jae In, saying that the September Pyongyang Joint Declaration announced at the recent talks is of great significance in revitalizing exchange and cooperation between the north and south of Korea and building a lasting peace-keeping mechanism.
They sincerely hoped that peace would be settled on the Korean peninsula permanently, claiming that the related countries would work together for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.
And governments in many other countries, including Indonesia, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, Belarus, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Ecuador and Costa Rica, also supported and welcomed the historic inter-Korean summit, expressing their expectations and belief that the September Pyongyang Joint Declaration signed by the leaders of the north and south of Korea would be implemented and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula.
