Moon Jae In and His Party Leave Pyongyang

President Moon Jae In and his party left Pyongyang on the morning of September 20 for Mt Paektu after successfully winding up the historic north-south summit.

He was accompanied by Jong Ui Yong, chief of the State Security Office of the Blue House; Jo Myong Gyun, minister of Unification; Kang Kyong Hwa, minister of Foreign Affairs; Song Yong Mu, minister of Defense; To Jong Hwan, minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Kim Hyon Mi, minister of Land and Transport; Kim Yong Chun, minister of Oceans and Fisheries; So Hun, director of the National Intelligence Service; Kim Jae Hyon, minister of the Korea Forest Service; Ju Yong Hun, head of the Presidential Security Service; Kim Hyon Chol, adviser to the president for economic affairs; Kim Jong Chon, chief protocol secretary of the Blue House; Yun Kon Yong, chief of the State Affairs Planning Office of the Blue House; and Kim Ui Gyom, spokesman for the Blue House, who are official entourage of the south side, and personages of various circles who are special entourage.

A large number of citizens warmly saw off President Moon Jae In and his party leaving after their significant Pyongyang visit at Pyongyang International Airport and along the streets in the capital.

Moon Jae In and his party were seen off at the airport by Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK; Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee; Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet; Ri Yong Ho, minister of Foreign Affairs; Kim Nung O, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the WPK; Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly; and Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang Municipal People’s Committee.

Women workers presented bouquets to Moon Jae In and his wife.

The officials of the north side exchanged good-byes with the personages of the south side.

The plane carrying Moon Jae In and his party took off for Samjiyon.
