A music and dance performance was given by the Korean People’s Army Song and Dance Ensemble for the participants in the Fifth National Conference of War Veterans at the April 25 House of Culture in Pyongyang.
War veterans, senior Party and government officials, leading officials of military organs, teaching staff and students of revolutionary schools, and other youth and students saw the performance.
Put on the stage were a variety of numbers including chorus Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung and wartime songs.
The performers sang highly of the undying revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who created a legend of war victory unprecedented in the world history of war and won victories in succession in the campaign to defend socialism.
Seeing the performance, the audience realized once again that the feats of the heroic soldiers in the 1950s are shining brilliantly thanks to the benevolent care of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who respects and upholds war veterans as saviours of the country and revolutionary forerunners and bestows all kinds of favours on them time and again.
