Inter-Korean Panel Talks Held for Cooperation in Road Traffic

The inter-Korean panel for cooperation in road traffic held talks on June 28 at the Thongil House in the north side area of Panmunjom according to the agreement reached at the inter-Korean high-level talks for the implementation of the historic Panmunjom Declaration.

They were attended by a north side delegation headed by Pak Ho Yong, vice-minister of Land and Environment Protection, and a south side delegation led by Kim Jong Ryol, vice-minister of Land and Traffic.

Both sides agreed to undertake the modernization project of the east and west coastal roads on the principle of simultaneous action. They also discussed how to carry it out and adopted a joint press release.
