The March 8 International Women’s Day was celebrated in the DPRK, where women are enjoying public respect and preferential treatment thanks to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
A national meeting took place on March 8 at the People’s Palace of Culture in Pyongyang to mark the 108th anniversary of International Women’s Day.
The reporter, in his keynote speech, extended utmost respects and glory to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who had pioneered the women’s movement of Juche and led it along the road of victory, on behalf of all the women and people in the country celebrating the women’s holiday, and called upon the women to follow the seasoned guidance of the Supreme Leader to add brilliance to the glorious history and tradition of the Korean women’s movement.
