Recreational facilities were full of laughter as many people sought New Year merry-making.
The Rungna Dolphinarium, electronic entertainment hall, Rungna 4D Cinema and Munsu Water Park in Pyongyang were all filled with holidaymakers.
Festivity filled the air at the People’s Open-Air Ice Rink, Central Zoo and parks where people enjoyed playing volleyball, tennis, basketball, badminton and other sports.
In addition, sights of children playing folk games in different parts of Pyongyang added to the festive mood.
The amusing sound of laughter that came from the recreational facilities hardened the conviction that the people’s livelihood would further flourish in the new year thanks to the people-first policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
