The Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory at the foot of Mt Ryongak in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, is closely associated with the leadership exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Making the rounds of automated production processes one by one during his visit to the factory in January Juche 100(2011), he had a taste of cold spring water. He was so pleased to see the water for longevity has become the people’s asset that he always wore a broad smile.
He named the smart factory built at the foot of picturesque Mt Ryongak the “Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory”.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un inspected the factory in September Juche 105 (2016) with a view to fulfil the Chairman’s desire, and sent vehicles for transporting spring water.
Today the transport vehicles are running the streets of Pyongyang as if they are passing on the fatherly affection for the people.
