Whenever the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visits factories and enterprises which contribute to improving the people’s living standards, he stresses that the people’s demands and interests should be regarded as the criteria in business activities and efforts to regularize production.
One day in July 2018 he visited the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory in Kangwon Province. After receiving the greetings of the officials of the factory, he affectionately said that he had long wanted to visit the factory.
Saying to the officials that the factory was gaining popularity recently, he highly spoke of the fact that it was conducting business activities efficiently while producing a large quantity of quality goods.
Then he continued: No matter how modern the production lines a factory established and no matter how much it advertises that its products are of high quality, the factory cannot be said to work well if the demand for its products is not high and they are not popular among consumers; no assessor or judge is stricter than the people; the fact that they are satisfied means that this factory has proved the validity of the Party’s policy with the production of quality foodstuffs.
Hearing him, the officials were deeply moved by the lofty affection for the people of the leader who regards the people’s demands and assessment as the top criteria in judging everything.
That day, he went round various production lines of the factory, stressing that it should ensure the quality whatever it produced.
