On the occasion of the Day of the Sun baskets of flowers were sent to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang by the bereaved family of internationalist Ya. T. Nobichenko, Jong Il Sim, widow of DPRK Hero An Tong Su, family of Kim Sun Ok who was related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the president of the Jindallae Children’s Foundation, the chairman of the Shipping Council of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Anti-imperialist Forum of Germany.
The floral tributes were paid on April 13 and 14.
The ribbons on the flower baskets bore such letters as “The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will always be with us” and “HE the great leader President Kim Il Sung is immortal”.
