On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the 73rd founding anniversary of the WPK, people paid homage to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who are the initiator and leader of the cause of building a revolutionary party.
Members of Pyongyang-based country offices of international organizations, overseas compatriots, foreign visitors as well as officials, servicer personnel, working people, youth and students in Pyongyang climbed Mansu Hill where the statues of the President and Chairman stand to pay homage to them.
Flower baskets in the name of people from different backgrounds, Korean People’s Army units, institutions and industrial establishments were presented at the statues and beaming images of the great leaders in different places of Pyongyang and across the country along with bouquets.
