Stamp Issued to Mark 70th Birthday of the DPRK

The National Stamp Bureau issued new stamps, a sheetlet and two individuals, to commemorate the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Seen on the upper part of the stamps are letters reading “Celebration of the 70th Founding Anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea”.

Depicting the DPRK’s national flag and emblem, the stamps reminds viewers of the history of the DPRK full of victory and glory, which has advanced dynamically along the road of building of a socialist power over the past 70 years since its foundation under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The sheetlet consists of individual stamps which represent the power of single-hearted unity of all the Korean people closely rallied around the Party and the might of self-reliance, the most popular and patriotic policies of the DPRK government, the mettle of the invincible revolutionary armed forces, and brilliant reality of the country that has greeted a new era of an overall revival.
