An international seminar on the “Juche Idea and 70 Years of the DPRK” was held on September 8 in Pyongyang to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK under the co-sponsorship of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and the Korean Association of Social Scientists.
The seminar was attended by the delegations and delegates of the Juche idea study organizations in many countries and regions.
Speakers at the event said that the Juche idea, the powerful ideological weapon which makes the masses of the people masters of the world and their destiny and the immortal banner which guides the building of a new world independent and peaceful, has fully demonstrated its validity and invincible vitality through the 70 years long history of the DPRK.
They noted that the DPRK, the homeland of the Juche idea where the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism has been put into reality, is the pride and dignity of the Juche idea followers and the world’s progressives.
A letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
In a friendly get-together held on September 11, the participants shared their impressions that the seminar served as an important occasion in further promoting the study and dissemination of the Juche idea. They deepened friendly feelings while playing various sports and amusement games.
They visited President Kim Il Sung’s birthplace at Mangyongdae, the Monument for Party Founding, Pyongyang Cultural Exhibition Hall, Pyongyang Metro and other places.
