A military parade took place in Pyongyang on February 8, Juche 107 (2018), to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Korean People’s Army.
Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people, delivered a congratulatory speech at the parade.
There was a march-past.
Seeing the columns of military parade marching slowly and solemnly down the Kim Il Sung Square 70 years after the historic first military parade of the Korean People’s Army, the local people remembered with deep emotion the undying revolutionary exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, who had set the most brilliant example of a revolutionary regular army building with outstanding army-building ideology and energetic leadership and created the ever-victorious history of the most powerful elite armed forces.
The military parade held in celebration of the 70th KPA anniversary strongly demonstrated the faith and will of the Korean people to further consolidate the DPRK as an invincible socialist bulwark that no enemy dares to attack, and hasten the final victory of Juche-based revolution by arming themselves with the immortal army-building ideology and exploits of the President and the Chairman and rallying single-mindedly around Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
