Service personnel and people from all walks of life, schoolchildren among them, paid tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il to mark the 69th anniversary of the DPRK.
People in Pyongyang visited Mansu Hill to lay baskets of flowers at the statues of the great leaders.
The ribbons of the baskets read: “The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us.”
Floral baskets also came from Pyongyang-based offices of international organizations such as UNDP, UNICEF and WFP and families of those related to the revolutionary activities of the great leaders.
Local people also visited the statues of the great leaders in their localities to pay homage to them.
