Women’s union officials and members from across the country got together at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium on March 5 for a three-day sports and amusement games to celebrate International Women’s Day.
More than 300 players from Pyongyang and provinces competed in such events as volleyball, yut (four-stick) game and leg-tied race.
Through the games, the participants showcased their will to add lustre to the great leaders’ immortal exploits performed for the buildup of the Juche-oriented women’s movement and to demonstrate the revolutionary stamina of the Korean women in this year’s grand march, following the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
