The Fourth Enlarged Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation was held in Pyongyang on October 7.
It was attended by Kim Ki Nam, chairman of the Committee of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, Kim Chang Dok, chairman of the Board of Directors, and its directors, overseas Koreans and foreign guests including members of the Foundation.
The meeting reviewed the work of the Foundation in the past two years after the Third Enlarged Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation and informed the direction of its future activities to give wider publicity to the greatness of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who had made great contributions to the cause of global peace and independence and expand and develop the Foundation.
Certificates were awarded to the newly elected directors and honorary directors.
At the meeting a letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was adopted amidst the enthusiastic applause of the participants.
